Profile - Maree Smith
My coaching practice includes clients in

.
It was born out of my work as an HR Manager,
management consultant and voluntary work as a small business mentor.
I have been coaching people in the corporate environment for many
years but it was when I used a coach myself that I realised that I
had found the best career for me!
I believe my strengths as a coach are my enthusiasm and optimism,
my belief that anyone can change their life for the better, and the
balance that comes from indepth knowledge of business and human
nature.
My work experience encompasses roles in both the public and
private sectors and includes the IT, education, financial,
government and manufacturing sectors as well as small companies of
1-10 people.
I have successfully coached many managers through organisation-wide
change initiatives; communication strategies; business planning
sessions; personal development issues; dismissals and restructures;
and programmes to bring under-performing employees back to the
organisation’s standard. I have coached and mentored HR people to
build skills and confidence, and I have developed and delivered
training programmes that change attitudes as well as develop skills.
I have worked with small business owners on business and sales plans
which have greatly increased the size of their business.
